Horspath anticipate their first premier league match of the season against tough competition. Today’s fixture against Wednesfield has in previous seasons been the match of the year, so it should be a good one to watch. We’ve got live updates from The Village at http://www.twitter.com/cyclespeedway

Big piece of East #Oxford history is coming down today! The old bus station on the corner of Cowley and Glanville Road is being demolished as we speak. We can hear the destruction from Cycle Oxford HQ. It’s times of change at the moment here in the East of the city.

Embarked on a new journey last night as curator of Museum From The Future, a PhD project by a friend of mine, aiming to transform an Oxford store-front for 2-3 days as people who’ve travelled from 2042 AD. Cars no longer exist, petroleum is obsolete, and we’re entering a beautiful world of tomorrow. It’s all happening May 16th (fingers crossed). Viva la bicicleta!

Talking #Oxford bread with @henry_herbert @HobbsHouseBoy & missed @EastOxMarket the home of great #bread in Oxford. Looking forward to our next market visit to fix bikes and promote our new exciting project Bike Life which is currently the editor’s choice on Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s People Fund front page!
Check out what’s going on at East Oxford Farmer’s Market here!

Soup! Not a revolutionary idea I hear you say. Our #Bike #Coop would like to change your mind. Over the last few months we’ve been refitting our kitchen to allow us to offer soup at 7pm to our members on workshop access evenings. Serving soup gives us quality time with our members, helps us share things that help build our co-op stronger. So if you have a bike to fix, every Monday and Tuesday from 12noon till 9pm come fix it with soup! http://www.ocwt.coop

Because bikes in Oxford are more than just an occassional distraction, they're a part our our city's beating heart. Videos to reflect the multiple personalities of the bicycle in Oxford from the adrenaline of Bike Polo and Alleycats, through to the more sedate world of a Sturmey Archer 3 Speed, wicker basketed freedom a bike can give you through the lanes and streets of our beautiful city.
